In May 2000 I made a trip through Morocco, I visited Morocco for 21 day's.
In the picture above you can see were I've been.
There are a few things in Morocco you must have seen, in the Lonely Planet there is a list with 10 highlights that is ranked with not-to-be-missed. I adjusted the list with things I think you should not miss when you are in Morocco:

1. The High Atlas, Anti-Atlas and Rif Mountains
2. Imperial Cities, particularly Fes, Marrakesh and Meknes
3. The Dades Gorge
4. The Desert sky and Sahara dunes of Merzouga
5. The Riffian town of Chefchaouen
6. A trip by Camel
7. Moulay Idriss
8. Moroccan patisseries (very sweet cakes)
9. Volubilis
10. Mint tea.

I have seen en done all this and a lot more. Some other things that are nice to see are Infrane (A luxe wintersport place), Ouarzazate (there is a very beautiful kasba to visit) and Ait Benhaddou (were they filmed Lawrence of Arabia.
I've had a little mix feelings about that trip. Morocco as a country is very beautiful and there are a lot of things to see and to do and I'm really glad I have seen it, but I have had some problems with the way some people treated me. (especially the men) Not in all places, but in the city's were they are used to tourist the people are less friendly. Gladly we visited not mutch of that kind of places. But when I think about it, I'm glad that I've seen Morocco
