As a race th Scottish love a 'wee dram' a small drink. They have many of these small drinks, usually single malt whiskeys (Scottish of course) until they are plastered. Therefor most of their nighlife entertainment takes place in bars and pubs.
The pubs are usually small and set in historic old buildings with a unique friendly atmosphere. Join in with the locals in pleasant conversation or a game of cards.
