Luggage and bags: Large Duffle with Wheels or BackPack

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: It can seem like you can go through four seasons in one day so wear light layers during the Spring and Summer (May - August). Warm Jumpers and Overcoats with hats and gloves during Winter and Autumn (September - April.

Always carry waterproofs and an umbrella unless there really isn't a cloud in the sky.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can get everything you need here.

Photo Equipment: You can get everything you need here - for a price.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: You will not need any camping equipment in London - there are a plethora of hostels and cheap hotels.

Miscellaneous: Good walking socks and shoes.
Try not to look like a tourist, you make yourself a target. Keep your money out of site and invest in a good Map.
