Leigh-on-Sea
I am not sure why it is called Leigh-on-Sea as it is not actually by the sea but rather the mouth of the Thames Estuary.
It used to be a quaint fishing village but still has some olde world charm in the form of coloured wooden boats, historic restaurants, museums and art galleries.
Deckchairs
As with any seaside resort it is a bustling colourful display of vacation life in the summer and looks rather folorn and unloved in the winter. As long as it is bright and dry a stroll along the promenade is an exhilerating experience.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:The coast and the country side are never far away.
- Cons:It is often regarded as a poor country cousin to London
- In a nutshell:It is a great place to live and work.

Hey... that's where I lived when I was in England! It's a nice spot and I enjoyed my time in Leigh-on-Sea. Cool passport photo!
