I have just got back from four days in London (Nov 04) and it was still nowhere near long enough, even to see a small portion of the the sites and areas that make London tick.
London is such a diverse and multi-cultural city, I`m not quite sure where to start. For shopping London just cannot be beat, from the cheap flea markets to the sheer luxury of Harrods you can buy virtually anything in London.
Architecture in London is some of the best in the world, from the historic buildings like the Tower of London to the modern buildings that seem to be constantly being built.
London is the entertainment capital of the world, whether you want to take in a West End show, go to the cinema or just people watch, London has everything.
History is the one thing that London does well and it certainly does do it well, virtually everywhere you look there is history, on every street corner.
Basically whatever you want you are bound to be able to get it in London. |
