Rum Boogie Cafe !!!

The Rum Boogie Cafe is a very nice restaurant and night club. You can eat inside, or outside. They have bands every night. Some of the big name club's, don't match up to the smaller one's. I heard the Delta Highway band in this club. Alot has to do with what kind of music you like. The Delta Highway, was the best band i heard in Memphis.

The Blue Plate Cafe is a (mom & pop) cafe. They are open 7 days a week. The food is very good, but the only bad thing is they close at 2:00 p.m. The Blue Plate Cafe is located @ Main & 113 Court Square South. Also another good restaurant is Miss Polly's Soul Food Cafe, located on Beale Street.

This is where Dr. Martin Luther King was shot. This is a must see if you are into history. The reef is where he was standing. You can go across the street to the old boarding house, and see the room from where he was shot. I was at both places, and had a very freaky feeling, knowing i was standing where history was made.

    Mud Island River...sounds like a great place to wheel...have a feeling though that's not what they have in mind... Thanks for the birthday wishes!
