I live in downstate Ill., in a town called Granite City, Ill. Were across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, Mo. We are a steel mill city of about 30,000 people. There is alot to do in Ill., but you can also go across the river which is about a 10-min. ride.

Let me introduce you to my family. My sister, mom, dad and myself. My sister is no longer with us, as she passed away with cancer. My sister has two daughter's and two grandchildren. It's sad when the grandchildren did'nt even know thier grandma.

My hobby is crappie fishing. My fishing partner ( joemidwest) & myself, fish for crappie in the spring & fall. Our main fishing lake ( lake kinkaid) is in Murphysboro, Ill. It's about a 2800 acre lake. It's about 80 miles from the house. Sometimes we do pretty good, sometimes ????

Lucky me with all the ring girl's. ( somebody has to do it ). My friend has a boxing club in West Madison, Ill. called ( knuckles boxing gym ). He train's boxer's, & promotes boxing shows. If you are interested in boxing, you can call Terry @ ( 618 ) 907-9222.

Every Memorial Day weekend we have a fish fry at my house. Me and my fishing partner (Joe Midwest) fish during the spring for crappie. So on the holiday weekend we have a party, and chill out.

Rib America Festival in downtown St. Louis, Mo. over Memorial Day Weekend is a good time. They have ribs-smoked turkey legs-burgers, and more. The band on stage is the Atlanta Rhythm Section Band. If you ever get a chance to see this band, you won't be disappointed.
