Kasbah Night

by inuit - last update: Sep 8, 2002

The Berbers of the Sahara and the Atals Mountains are living in big mud houses called Ksur or Kasbah when some Ksur are connected togeter. They have an amazing folklore regarding evil eye, demons, witch craft etc. I was watching the Kasbah of Warzaazte during the night felling the mud walls breathing while the moon was lighting for me the place.

Inuit in Morocco too ! Merzuga is a fine place to touch the Sahara. Your photos are splendid but you are only on the verge of the Sahara ! You should go to Djanet, the Hoggar, I'll show you when I will find time to build these pages !
