    • Favorite Thing: There are about 18 million people live in Sri Lanka. 8o% of the are Sinahlese, 17% are Tamils and the rest are Christians and Muslims. Most of Sinahelse are Buddhist but some also Hindu or Christians. Most of Tamils are Hindus. Actually many of Sri Lanka people hold both of religious. The war in Sri Lanka is between the Tamils under ground who fight for a Tamil state in the north and the east and the Sri Lanka stae who refuse.

    Fondest Memory: I took this photo of a snake trainer in Dambulla. He is a grypsy Tamil showing his snakes to people who visit the Dambulla caves.

    • Favorite Thing: visit Bentota and its area on the west coast of Sri Lanka. The coast line is covered with thousands of coconut palms and create a wonderful shade when you lie on the beach. Some of the hotels actualy located among the palms. You can also watch locals climb up and pick up the coconuts or 'milking' the palm of its nectar for making a brandy.

    Fondest Memory: Staying in a very expensive hotel north of Bentota and taking a photo of the gurad walking with his umbrella among the palms.

    • Favorite Thing: You really should try and visit the Sigiriya rock fortress in middle of the island. Climb up this amazing monolit where you will have a wonderful view. The high light of the iste a colorful old fresocs very well preserved of very erotic young women called the Sigiriya Nymphs.
