"One day in Coba" a Cobá Travel Page by Umfufu

Here you see Frans earlie in the morning. We had an excursion to Coba, one of the oldest ruins found in Mexico and not all explored. We made the booking of this excursion a week before we would go...and guess what ! This was the only day it rained so hard, we could see the road!

We had some starting problems. Beside the terrible rain we also had a problem finding the guide. He should be in Tulum but on our way up there he called us on his cell phone and he told us he was in Playa del Carmen. We had to drive 30 minutes back to fetch him up.

Coba was one of the things we would visit this day. As i told you Coba isnt found that long ago. Its in the middle of the jungle and driving there (about 3 hours from our hotel) leaves nothign else to see then jungle ! Other things this day were meeting Maya's, eating the Maya way and swimm in a Cenote.
