    • Favorite Thing: Go and see a working mill. The view from the top of a mill is worth a 'looksee' in itself.

    I would love to live in an old mill, maybe because the circular rooms would be a change from 4 straight walls. (Although I wouldn't fancy wallpapering them!!! LOL)

    Fondest Memory: I miss all my friends and their cooking.

    • Fondest Memory: One of Schiedam's mills burned down but was eventually rebuilt. People were allowed to buy a brick and have their name carved in it, which I hope you can see in this photo. The bricks were then placed around the 'balcony' or viewing area for people to read. The proceeds went to help rebuild the mill to it's former glory.

    • Favorite Thing: If any of you Brits hold a Makro cash & carry card then take advantage of it whilst the £ is strong. Anyone who is Makro cardholder can visit the overseas warehouses. There is a good one in Delft.

    • Fondest Memory: The Dutch banknotes are really interesting (to me anyway) and the 50 guilders was my favourite. Due to the high £ at the moment, the Netherlands represents great value for money. You will not believe the price difference from what we (Britain) would normally pay for groceries etc. I managed to bring home a whole airplane full of stuff!
    Sadly, this money is no longer in circulation due to the new boring €uro's.
