National Historical Park

It seemed appropriate for there to be snow on the ground when we visited this renouned park. The name was derived from iron forge built along Valley Creek in the 1740's. The Continental Army, under the leadership of George Washington, had an encampment here in the winter of 1777 - 1778.

    Nice impact with all the snow!! I visited around last Christmas and there were deer everywhere.

    Lovely photographs the entrance to the park looks similar the the Arc d'Triomph in Paris, adorable snow scenes
