A VERY SMALL VILLAGE WITH THE MOST TOURISTS I HAVE EVER SEEN. CAR FREE EXCEPT FOR SMALL ELECTRIC CARS. THEY DO OFFER AN INTERNET BAR WITH TWO VERY HEAVILY USED COMPUTERS. 5 SFR FOR 15 MINUTES. ALL THE SHOPPING YOU WOULD EVER LIKE TO SEE IN A SPORTS VILLAGE. THE CEMETERY IS AN INTERESTING VISIT SINCE MANY OF THE DEAD WERE KILLED CLIMBING OR IN AVALANCHES. THE GRAVES CAN BE QUITE OLD. THE TRAIN RIDE TO ZERMATT CAN BE OBTAINED IN BRIGG AND OTHER LOCATIONS. IT TAKES ABOUT 20 MINUTES. SEVERAL OF THE BUILDINGS ARE MORE THAN A FEW HUNDRED YEARS OLD AND CAN BE SEEN ALONG THE STREETS AND UP IN THE MEADOWS. |
