Route 101 The Coastal Drive Some of the Northwests best views are along the coast of Oregon. State Parks line the coastal road to provide woodlands and walking trails to the ocean and haystack views.
We traveled the length of the state and returned through the mountains on the Cascades Scenic Byway. There is so much diversity in this state from rich farmlands to the dry areas of the east. I got the chance to try the fruits and wines of this state and all were very delicious. |
| | Coastline The cliffs along the coast are always fascinating to watch the waves crash against the rocks. |
| | Natures Fishermen It is not appreciated by the commercial fishermen that these seals eat a lot of the bounty of the sea. They are fun to watch chasing each other to get a position on the docks. |
