I lived here for 7 months in 1999, so I have experienced the changing seasons, and gotten to know the country a bit.

Both in summer and in winter, bathing outdoors is a great experience. Because of the hot springs and the cheap hot water you get from them, iceland is full of pools that are really hot, and almost always they are situates outdoors.

I tell you, it is quite an experience to relax in 38 degrees hot water when a blizzard is roaring around you. (cold before you get into the water though!!)

Iceland looks a lot like Labrador too minue all the hot springs. They look fun, almost theraputic I guess, LOL :-)
