Welcome to Hudiksvall!
The Town of Hudiksvall is very pretty and I think you should visit this place in summer. It is famous for its many flower arrangements!
The town centre has a lot of really pretty wooden houses, and somehow seems to have escaped a lot of the destruction that went on in Swedish cities during the 60's and 70's. (Old structures were torn down to give room to the really ugly cement structures of that era.)
One day should be enough to explore the town.
After that, travel on into the county of Hälsingland with its amazing scenerys.
The two lakes of Dellen, Norrdellen (North Dellen) and sördellen (south Dellen) are traditional forestry and iron-lands.
Driving around the little roads will lead you to many beautiful sights, and places to have a swim.If you are here, the dont miss the Farmhouses. The Hälsingland farmhouses are situated around the countryside, and are old buildings that have been restaured both in- and outwards to reenact the way of life in the older days. I am particularly fond of the Baltic coast. I suggest you visit the travelogue for pics from this area. |
