I have friends who stayed at the Af Chapman hostel lodges in a boat off Skeppsholmen island in cecntral Stockholm. They were pleased with the setting and the location, but the interiors were a bit worn. Apparently this well-known hostel will go through renovations starting fall of 2005 so perhaps it will get it's much wanted face-lift finally. Citylodge is a hostel in the center of town with reasonably priced shared rooms. Check out the links for both places. Af Chapman hostel Citylodge
