Glups: For the Sweet toothed people

Hehe, actually I only recommend this because it looks so much like our sweets stre in Sweden. Glups sells sweets in containers from which you pick stuff yourself and put it in a bag, then pay per weight. There is one Glups store located in Champs Elysees, on your right hand if you face the Arc, quite high up in the same arcade as L'Occitane. I can't remember what the place is called, but you'll find it.

What to buy: Jelly candy, chewing gum, chocolates, popsickles etc etc.

What to pay: From a euro and up, I guess.

Directions: See above ...!

Sephora: Cosmetics heaven SEPHORA Review

Ok, you probably have Sephora in your home country, in that case stop yawning. Here in Sweden there is yet no Sephoras, hence this shopping tip! I have been a fan of this shop ever since back in the nineties. Now there are Sephoras everywhere. I like the wide range of products they carry, and often the staff is very professional and has a great knowledge.

They also offer nail service, maquillage a point, consultations ...

What to buy: Apart from brqand names Sephora also have a wide range of their own products. Many little practical things like nail clippers, mini nail files, anti-blemish gel are very price-worthy. Also, their Sephora eye crayons are very short, ideal for keeping in your handbag.

What to pay: From a few euros and up.

Address: Champs Elysees and a huge store at rue de Rivoli.

Imagine the scent! - Paris

Imagine the scent!

L'occitane en Provence: Occitane

Oh I just love this shop! You find lots and lots of stuff in bath and beauty here, all packaged just so beautifully. There are both women and men's stuff.
Occitane is a big chain of stores I think so maybe you have already encountered it in your own country. I had not.

What to buy: In l'Occitane I can especially recommend the nut shaped soaps smelling of different woods, like cedar. Also I can recommend the little Lip creme with Beurre de Karité. MY best friend loved a rose scented body cream, and we all loved the Almond milk cremes.

They have an on-line shopping service too, see adress below ...!

What to pay: From 5 euros and up.

Directions: There are shops in both Rue de REnnes, Rue de Bac, Rue Mouffetard and Place de Vosges. Among other places.

The area around Porte de Clignancourt is great for shopping. Flea markets and lots of antiques stores.
check first for market days, then go there and spend many hours browsing around, making great bargains!

What to buy: Anything from furniture to clothes, jewellry or books... Also, there are nice coffeehouses where you can have a break!

What to pay: As much as you want to. No limits any way!
