Delhi was the last stop on my India trip.
We arrived from Agra by train, didn't sleep at all during the train ride for fear of robbers.
Delhi greeted us with a 40 degrees heat wave. Splashing out on an aircon-room we began our stay in the city.
In Delhi one of the most striking things wes the enormous difference between New and Old Delhi. In New Delhi, the streets are wide, traffic orderly and the houses big and modern. In the old part of the city there is chaos. People, animals and all sorts of vehicles come together on the narrow streets. But, in my mind, this was more charming than the oper spaces.
