I found Naples to be a pretty conjested and run down city. The Amalfi coast however was very picturesque - we stayed in a small town called Maiori. We also visited Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. The highlight was a vistit to the volcano Mount Vesuvius and the town of Pompeii which was destroyed by volcanic ash in AD79. |
