"Mekong Delta & Can Tho" a Can Tho Travel Page by Andrew_Mc

We took a two day tour of the Mekong Delta, overnighting in the port city of Can Tho. I would thoroughly recommend this trip which was organised by Sinh Café. A highlight was a trip in a small canoe through the jungle - it was truly breathtaking.

We travelled around the Delta in boats and saw how the local people lived – with all the kids waving at us from the shore. In Can Tho we ate a restaurant called Tam Bo and the food there was fantastic – thoroughly recommendedas was the service from our waiter, Tai, who was very friendly – if you eat here, sit upstairs on the balcony.

The next day we visited a couple of floating markets, a rice factory, a noodle factory and an orchard before returning to Saigon.
