Good that the museum was open when you arrived. An uncle of mine started a small museum like that after he retired, in his adopted home town of Minocqua, Wisconsin, USA.
I will have to look up the Minocqua, WI museum when I am in that area. I love those small museums. They have so many personal stories to tell.
