Israel, also known as the land of milk and honey, is actually one big historical, religious, archaeological and cultural open-air museum.

In Jerusalem, for example, there is so much to see that you almost have a lack of time. Interesting sites in Jerusalem are the Temple Square with the Dome of the Rock and the Wailing Wall. When you are lucky you can see how Jewish boys have their Bar Mitzvah.

Tel Aviv is the most modern city of Israel and also from the Middle-East. In Tel Aviv you can relax at the beach but beware, it can be busy here. Shopping in luxury streets is also one of the possibilities. In the evening you can drink something on a terrace or eat something in one of the restaurants. After that you can go to a bar or a nightclub.

Eilat is the southernmost city of Israel and is a very good place for scubadiving, swimming, sailing, windsurfing and a lot of other activities on the water. It is also possible to swim with dolphins. In summer it can be very hot here but during wintertime the temperature is very nice.

Besides these three cities there is so much more to see in Israel. When you are interested in archeological sites you can have a wonderful time here.
