Suriname is a Caribbean-like country in South America where the people speak Dutch.
Last year I watched a braodcast of this country on TV and I decided I wanted to go there one day because it seemed to be very beautiful here.
I think it was February 2002 I made my decision to go to Suriname this year. The main reason for a visit this year was that there isn't much tourism yet. It is still in it's original shape: a lot of rain forest, friendly people, no huge hotels, etc.
So, in September I left for a period of three weeks to this country. My experiences and pictures will be added in the coming weeks. |
