Jerusalem, capital of Israel - Jerusalem

I think Jerusalem is one of the most interesting cities in the world. There are so many things to see in the city itself, but also in the environment a lot of places are worth a visit.

The city is one of the oldest in history and so many things happened here in the past (unfortunately a lot of terrible things happen nowadays too) that made Jerusalem very intriguing.

I stayed in Jerusalem for five days and I am convinced it was too short because I didn't see everything. Other places I wanted to see again but it wasn't possible for me to stay any longer.

The old city of Jerusalem is the most interesting part of this town. Surrounded by walls and it can be entered through some gates only. The old city is divided in four quarters and each of this quarter has its own unique sphere. The Moslim quarter is busy and messy whereas the Jewish quarter is quiet and very clean.

Of course the new city of Jerusalem isn't bad at all but its so different. Modern buildings, the busy Jaffa Street with a lot of traffic and the shopping streets.

All this makes Jerusalem, in my opinion, a beautiful city where you can amuse yourself very well.
