The UK is great and they do kick ass at making tea. Bring lots of cash, its a very expensive place to visit. A cab ride from Heathrow to Ascot where I stayed (about 45 minutes West of the Airport in the country) costs about $ 80.00 US. Meals are not cheap ether. The people are very freindly and helpful and the food is much better than I expected. The pubs are the best! If you get a chance to visit Windsor castle, take the trip. The audio tour us excellent and there is so much history you will have a hard time digesting it all. There are bus routes that will take you directly to the town of Windsor that are relativly cheap. Get ready for lots of smoking. |
