The Santropol specialises in sandwiches. They serve no alcohol, however they do have a good selection of Free Trade coffee and tea.

Restaurant Name: Zyng

Zyng is a noodlery. They have really good um, noodles. Plus you leave the place smelling like noodles (according to a salesperson who told my friend and I this). There are lots of vegetables and the desserts are yummy. I like the lichis on rocks.

Favorite Dish: Pick and choose, mix your own stirfry!!!!

Restaurant Name: L'Étranger

L'Étranger specialises in sandwiches of all types. Wraps, paninis, traditional-but-too-big-for-your-mouth sandwiches.... Their menu is so big and everything is so appetising that it can take quite a while to make a decision!!!! They serve loads of imported beers, but also some local brews. Their desserts are excellent. I usually share a chocolate fondue with a friend. At night there usually is a jazz band performing.

Favorite Dish: The Adam and Eve: A sandwich made with apples and havarti cheese.
Alice in Wonderland: A sandwich made with a whole bunch of portabello mushrooms. 'tis so good!!!!

Directions: It's easy to miss. It's in front of the Eaton Centre on Ste-Catherine street. They have a sign at street level, but you have to go down a flight of stairs to entre the restaurant.
