I've been 3 times in Thailand, mostly in the southern part, but also a week in Chiang Mai. In March I went straight from Bankok to Koh Samui by plane, then over to Koh Pha Ngan for the Full Moon Party!! Well,it actually turned out to be a full rain party instead. But we all had incredible fun,and rumours said Superman was there... After some days in these 2 islands I headed for Krabi, and stayed in Raylay Beach for some days and then Phi Phi. These are both beautiful places, but some of the beaches have (in my opinion) been destroyed by tourism. Sad. But worse was to come when I saw Phuket! Jeeze! Left after some days for Malaysia, straight to Kuala Lumpur and then Singapore. KL was OK,S'pore not exactly typical asian, but OK as well. I was actually interviewed on Thai TV during Songkran, the thai new year. They too discovered,as I did,SuperJimmy!!! Did about the same route in August 2001,would love to go back anytime again. |

I also really want to see James Bond Island and the rock. | ExGuyParis Thu Jan 9, 2003 10:11 UTC This is one of the funniest pages I have seen on VT. I love the photo of the beer, Garp, and hammock-- looks to me like the perfect vacation. And some of your comments are hysterical. | Masada Fri Nov 29, 2002 06:52 UTC Oustanding page!
