Take a look at all the statues and ornaments on the Nidaros Cathedral. There's a saying that if the Cathedral ever was finished, the hole city would disappear in the fjord. But this guy will never lay the last brick,so it won't ever be finished. Right? Right.

Have a look on the outside and the inside of the Nidaros Cathedral. Here it is seen from the west front.

The Tyholt Tower,120 metres high and with a rotating restaurant at the top. Best view of the city! At least better than the food...

Marinen is the biggest park in the centre of Trondheim. Beautyfully sited in the back of the Nidaros Church. During the hot(!) summerdays lots of people gather for picnics, sports and drinking here.

Nidaros Cathedral,Norway's national sanctuary and the most important monument from the Middle Ages. The church was built over the grave of St.Olav,Norway's patron saint whose reputation shone far beyond the borders of his country. Construction started in 1070,but the oldest parts still in existence are from the middle of the 12th century. Ravaged by fire on several occations, the church was rebuilt each time - mainly the gothic style. The rebuilding of the church was officially finished in August 2001,after 930 years! The Crown Jewels are a must-see! So are the ancient grafitti, stating that one of the munks were gay!

Lekendal Stadium is the second biggest stadium in Norway, with a capacity around 30 000 at it's limits. In a couple of years Lerkendal will be totally rebuilt. When finished a private hospital and a hotel will be included. If you're in Trondheim around fall, you can see Rosenborg beat the crap out of AC Milan,Real Madrid,Bayern Munich and other teams in the Champions League. Åh Rosenborg,åh Rosenborg,åheiåheiåhåååå!!!!!
