This is a guide at the Cu Chi tunnels,showing the entrance to the tunnel. It is 23cm wide and 35cm long! In the Cu Chi district alone,there were around 248km of tunnels! After ground operations against the tunnels claimed numerous US casualties and proved ineffective,the Americans turned the bombers and artillery on the area,turning it to a moonscape.

SuperJimmy was half the man he used to be... The entrance to the Cu Chi tunnels was really small,and I guess my hips are made for giving birth to children...

This is inside one of the Cu Chi tunnels,made bigger to fit tourists,like me. It was hot & humid,not really pleasant. It's incredible to think that they spent weeks at the time underground. These tunnels were made in 3 floors,so if the Americans bombed or found the first floor,the Vietcongs were still safe further below.

It was very strange to go to the War Remnants Museum,because everything was seen through Vietnamese eyes. It's called the American War,and they're always referred to as the enemy. The pictures and the stories behind them are really something that makes you think. Nobody was nice in this war. War is not glorious.
