One of Wisconsin's biggest attractions. But do it right and go for the scenery. This is a city that took advantage of being on the Wisconsin River which has incredible rock formations and canyons called "dells" which were formed by a huge flood during the last ice age. This word is derived from the French word "Dalles" meaning "canyon cut through rock." |
