I stayed in that hotel once and I also visited my American friends who chose to stay there on my recommendation and did not regret it afterwards. The room was about $75. The hotel offers great buffet for breakfast and has a cozy atmosphere in general. It's one of the three left-bank hotels where I stayed at and would like to return there some day.
Unique Qualities: It's one of the middle range hotels on the left bank of the Dnipro. It is convenient for its proximity to the metro station, it has a nice park, a market and cafes nearby.

This hotel located in the „concrete jungles“ of the western part of the city stands at the campus of Ukrainian National Aviation University. It is a former nine-storey dormitory for students that was turned into the hotel. There are rooms for people without caprices (we, locals, take them for UAH 100 a day – they are on the 7th floor) and semi-suites with all modern conveniences inside the room, not in the block of two rooms like I used to stay at.
Unique Qualities: The suites would cost you $30 a day. There is a café on the second floor and downstairs and other cafes and bistros outside the campus in the area of apartment houses opposite Sergo furniture store.
