On the way: road signs
Favorite thing: The scenery is nice and the roads are not too bad.
If you travel by car, you can also use that chance to do some shopping.
Almost every village house offers vegetables, eggs, honey or milk for sale.
You can see goods placed on a stool in front fo a house entrance.
The passing cars can make a stop and in front of a "mini-shop" and buy something for home.
Fondest memory: There are a lot of picturesque villages on your way to Novopskov.
The distance is about 100 miles.
The bus from Luhansk makes an about twenty minutes stopover in Starobelsk.
This is when you can have your breakfast or lunch.
There are a lot of snack bars, kiosks and cafes in Market Square in Starobelsk.

It has been published since February 2008 in two languages: Russian and Ukrainian.

A five-storey apartment house in the main street
Favorite thing: Walking along the main street you can see houses and apartment houses of different periods in history.
There are a couple of five-storey apartment houses in the main street, as well as two-storey and three-storey apartment houses dating back to Khrushchov era.
The majority of houses are private houses including "new V.I.P. projects" that look more like castles.
The main square is around the leisure center and Lenin monument. I thought it should be Lenin Square, but was mistaken.
The main square has a very special name and was called after the 103rd Tank Brigade that liberated Novopskov from Nazi invaders in 1943.
The main square is called The 103rd Tank Brigade Square.
Fondest memory: picturesque countryside;
nice views of the river and the hills;
visiting the local lore museum;
viewing the monuments and memorials.
