There are no hotels in Zorinsk and all people coming here (friends and relatives of the locals) usually stay at their places.
We stayed at 40 Years of Victory Block downtown and enjoyed the quiet and friendly atmosphere there.
There is one hostel in Zorinsk, though.
It is used mainly for those who arrive to the coalmine on business.

I did not stay at this dormitory located next to the town department store, but I got to know about it through Svetlana who is in charge of the hostel.
The dormitory is owned by the coalmine.
The construction workers who built the town cathedral used to live there during their work.
The dormitory has no restroom inside, only outside.
Then there is no shower or bath, you would have to go to the operating coalmine where there is a shower room in the yard. The coalminers take a shower there after their shift.
That would be a nice opportunity to meet them there.
Talk to the tired but merry coalminers, take a picture of them and with them or have a beer with them!
