"Forward!"

The motto of the State of Wisconsin is very impressive. There is only one word in it: "Forward".

Thanks to the US-sponsored Partners in Education teachers exchange program I could stay in this wonderful state for about a month as an exchange teacher and enjoy its splendid nature, meet its hospitable people and visit the numerous sights.

My Visits in Wisconsin

Lake Michigan

Outside my internship at my host school (Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay) I had a chance of traveling about the state together with the 10-member group of Ukrainian educators from Luhansk region, Ukraine.

Both my host family and and Larry, my colleague and friend from my host school, showed me a lot of beautiful places in Wisconsin too, among them the state capital and other cities and remote places such as the Fox Cities, the Thunder River, Monroe, Platteville, etc.

I'm glad you got to see a corner of america like wisconsin, away from all the hustle and bustle. I have only been through there, though have a lot of very good friends from wisconsin, very hard working, unselfish, warm people. Did you know Sugar Mountain is also a beautiful song by Neil Young, i wonder if they were talking about the same place?

Thos ripe pumpkins are huge, Vic! Nice that you visited Wisconsin - went there only once and my research on the DNA genome/genetics of a worm won, lol...I worked on that worm for 3 months (poor worm).

i swear so many people i know came through exchange programs to either minnesota or wisconsin. i find it very cool you went to cities in the us that most of us citizens have never been. very cool! thanks for visiting c-land page. talk to you sson!

Wisconsin is a nice place. It has a different kind of feel, but it's a great deal of fun.
