    • Luggage And Bags: It's best to take a backpack or a weekend bag. Because in Venice you might have to walk a while before getting to your hotel. Remember there are no such things as taxi's!! Or you could take the vaporetto or watertaxi, but then again there are a lot of steps in Venice, so I felt most comfortable with my backpack.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take a sweater with you in spring or autumn. It can be chilly in the evening.

    Toiletries & Medical Supplies: In summer when it's warm there can be musquito's, so take some citronella or something with you.
