Tunisia 2002

by LarsLous - last update: Jan 1, 2004

Hello my friends.
Unfortunately, we were only for a week in this beautiful north-african country, but we had the opportunaty to see a lot. We took a great tour around, from Tunis, were we stayed in our main hotel, to El Djem, Matmata, Douz, than moved on to Nefta while passing through the Chott el Djerid (we saw a Fata Morgana!) and then the third day, we drove along the borders of Algiria to Tozeur and Tamerza, passed Gafsa and finaly Kairouan. A great trip, Myriam and I really enjoyed it.

Have fun visiting and please, do not forget to rate the page. Tanks a lot.
Hugs,
Lars

I agree the Bardo museum is great, but its website address is http://www.di.com.tn/museebardo/ and not the link to the museum with the same name in Algeria
