An outing to see the Rams | The St. Louis Rams warm up in Seahawks Stadium |
I was off to Seattle for a three day, four night stint to see my favorite sporting team in the world, the St. Louis Rams, a team in the National Football League. Not only was I visiting Seattle for football reasons, I was visiting it because I have been amazed by the city for years and have always wanted to visit. I found no better reason to see Seattle than to go see a football game while I was there, it was the perfect setup. Inside the page I have two main sections, the city, and the St. Louis Rams. Now that I've visited the city, I can't wait to go back and hopefully move there once I am done with college here in Florida. |

| | Seattle- About this trip This whole trip came about when I was browsing ticketmaster.com looking for a St. Louis Rams game that I could go see. I've gone to a game for the last three years, all of those were close to home (2 in Carolina, and 1 in Atlanta). I saw that Seattle played the Rams in Seattle, so I checked for tickets. Turns out there was a 2nd row, 50 yard line seat available, I couldn't resist and bought the ticket. |
Seattle- What'd I do? I got into Seattle on Thursday night, I took the #174 bus to the Union Station; it cost me $1.25 and took 45 minutes because of heavy traffic. After surfacing from Union Station, I found my hostel, checked in, unloaded my gear, and was back on the streets for the night. The next day I saw the local downtown area and the waterfront as well as an extensive tour of Pike's Place Market, as well as the shopping district. I also checked out a few apartments. The following day, Saturday, I saw Pioneer Square, the Space Needle, and saw a Seattle Supersonics basketball game in the Key Arena. On Sunday morning, I took a cruise around Elliot Bay, saw the Aquarium, and went to the Rams game later that day. At night, I went to a nice rock club for my last night in Seattle. I also walked around 4th, 5th, and 6th avenues people watching. I left Seattle on Monday morning, somewhere near 4AM. | | | Marshall Faulk; best all-around player in the NFL |
