Well, after coming from Juneau and Skagway, we had arrived in Fairbanks by bus. The views were great, but seating was something else. I had to sit on a milk crate all the way from Skagway due to an overcrowded bus. It was hot and smelled like ass, but hell it was something I remembered. When in Fairbanks, it was so extremely hot, as you can see in the picture, it was something like 90F outside. Unfortunately, we never saw the Northern Lights here, due to it being sunny the entire time we were there!

ReNamed Pioneer Park. Free to enter. Must pay for all shows & to go in Paddle Boat but can look in all original old buildings moved from around town to this one area for free. Nice place.
In the last three years, Alaskaland was renamed Pioneer Park due to the misconception that it would be like Disneyland. It is still open and will likely continue to draw tour groups.
