<font color= red><B> Bern- After my visit to the Swiss Alps and before my visit to Luxembourg, I managed to squeeze in a day trip to the city of Bern. Their city mascot is the bear, and there are 5 or so of them to see in the very depressing bear pits, or Barengraben in native terms. There is shopping to be done afterwards, so don't stare at those bears too long. Along with the bears and shops, you'll find a pleasant old town feel to this small capitol city. It's the capitol right? Well, in Bern you'll also find the stunning Munster, which can be seen in the distance in one of my photos below. |
