There are tons of ancient roman ruins scattered through this city for you to click your camera at. If you happen to be in Luxembourg, the train ride is a short one, so you might as well stop by Trier. Trier is the oldest city in Germany, and was once the capitol of the Western Roman Empire. What you are looking at in this photo is the Kaiserthermen, which was once one of the largest bath complexes in the Roman world. The extensive underground heating system has survived, and I walked around the service channels and passages.</font><font size="3" face="News Gothic MT" color="#808080">

Also, it is worth mentioning that Trier is the place of birth of Karl Marx. The house he use to live in has been turned into a museum.
