"Where the heck am I?" Cava de' Tirreni by Venturingnow

If you've been to some of my pages, you may have noticed that I am somewhat of a 'lazy' traveler. What I mean is you'll often find me saying, "this is a building I saw, I think, and it was in Rome." I don't pay attention to details, read guidebooks or pay that much attention to anything but food. My trip to Cava de Tirreni was a prime example of my laziness. I really don't even know for sure where I was headed, but I do know that I fell asleep on a bus after trying to search for a hostel in Naples, or was it Pompeii? Naples, I think. Anyway, I fell asleep on this bus, and bam, I just woke up and saw a youth hostel sign on the side of the road (the exact second I woke up), and jumped up and ran to the door to get off the bus.

So I got off the bus, crossed the road, and wandered around this large building/church thing until I found a bunch of kids playing soccer. I went inside, found a desk, said hello, and some Spanish looking immigrant came in the room. I asked for a room, and he gave me a key, some sheets, and took me up to my huge, empty room. So I remind you, it is know almost 3PM and I don't know where I am, I could be in Spain for all I know (and I thought I was when that Spanish guy owned the hostel). So after I'd taken a shower and a nap, I went downstairs in the completely empty hostel and asked what city I was in, they said Cava de Tirreni, and I was like, where the heck am I?
