"Siena- Tuscan Beauty" Siena by Venturingnow
Siena Travel Guide: 890 reviews and 2,681 photos
Siena is an extremely beautiful city situated roughly 50 kilometers (whatever those are) south of Florence (Firenze). Siena is a picturesque, well-preserved medieval town lthat is part of the Tuscan wine and hill regions. Within the city, there are a number of fascinating architectural and artistic sights to meet your fancy. If you are looking for a great day trip from Florence, head down to Siena for the day and you won't be dissapointed.
Siena is located in the beautiful part of Italy called Tuscany. Surrounded by wonderful towns like Florence, Lucca, San Gimignamo, and more. A note for the map, these are regions of Tuscany, the cities are within the regions. Also, Firenze is Florence, it's the local name.
