I am currently updated this page as I haven't been here since VT redesigned its site. Well, I visited Sydney for a total of 4 days. It was the last stop on my exhausting journey by bus from Cairns to Sydney. Don't get me wrong, I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but I was just a little tired by this point. Some of my favorite things in Sydney were the tours of the Opera House, eating seafood on the shores of Darling Harbour, walking along the Sydney Bridge, enjoying the markets by the docks, going to the Sega World Amusement Park, dining at Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe, and more.</font></p> |
|  | Infos on Sydney Sydney is a modern, large city in the state of New South Wales. The city is based on two main water regions, Botany Bay which is where the explorer Cook originally arrived when he came to the area, and Jackson Harbour where the Opera House and the Sydney Bridge are located. As most people already know, Sydney was the gracious host of the 2000 summer olympics, thus there is now a great transport/tourist infrastructure in the city and surrounding areas. In Sydney, you've got a good mix of sights to see, from old settlements to beaches, chinatown to the jewelry district, it's all here in this beautiful city. |
