<font color= brown><B> This is a building in the Maxplatz, and I believe that it is the Neues Rathaus, though I'm not 100% sure. I do know that there was a lovely little market in the square around the building. You can check out the Gruner Markt and the big Jesuit Church named St.Martin.

<font color= brown><B> I believe they call this church St. Michaels, or at least that's what I have in my travelogue. I know that the inside is really nice and that there is a brewery museum in the little building next door to the church entrance.

The Neue Residenz (tours...

<font color= green><B> The Neue Residenz (tours daily 9am–noon & 1.30–4/5pm; DM5) offers some great tours. Inside are richly decorated state rooms, and the Staatsgalerie Bamberg, with medieval and Baroque paintings by German masters. I took the tour and have a great time exploring the huge and elagant rooms. The rose garden behind the Residenz is also great, and it offers a great view of the city.

You definately have to find...

<font color= orange><B> You definately have to find your way into the old town and to the Altes Rathaus. It is an extremely beautiful building on an islet anchoring the Obere Brücke to the Untere Brücke. It's almost too picturesque for its own good! Except for the half-timbered section overhanging the rapids, the original Gothic building was transformed into Rococo, and its walls are tattooed with exuberant frescoes.
