<font color= navy><B> Bamberg is a lovely city that is located on the Regnitz River in Central/Eastern Germany. Bamberg is an easy stop from Frankfurt, Wurzburg, or Nuremburg. The city is split into two distinct districts, the new town and the old town. The train station will bring you into the new town from where you can take the long walk into the old town. Bamberg is a really lovely city with tons of things to see and do. Come and check out this page!

Stationed in Bamberg in 1971 -72. I spent a year in this magical fairy tale village and loved it. The vibrant people, delicious food, and magnificent architecture I profoundly miss. It was a magnificent experience. Thanks for bringing it back to me.
