"Las Vegas Awaits...." a Las Vegas Travel Page by Jordie

I'd been to Las Vegas in 1989 and as we drove towards the strip I could not believe how much it had changed, My brain was working overtime on which casino to visit first.
We pulled into our hotel lobby (the Monte Carlo) at dusk, went to our room which had an awesome view of the Bellagio and the strip, and then headed down to the nearest bar for a few drinks. The bar wasthe Monte Carlo's own brewery it was a fantastic atmosphere and we stayed there all night!
The rest of our stay in Vegas included many visits to Casino's, The Piano bar in New York New York, the roller coaster in New york New York (which my husband was to scared to go on), I loved it, The water feature at the Bellagio, The monorail ride between our hotel and the Bellagio, A buffet dinner, outlet shopping, a day trip to the Grand Canyon (very very long drive) and many dinners and much drinking.
My husband & I loved Las Vegas we have told all our friends that they MUST go to Vegas. We have nothing that remotely compares to it in Australia so for us it was an exciting adventure in a city with the most amazing diversity of people and nighlife! We will definetly be going back to Las vegas!
