"Los Angeles" a Los Angeles Travel Page by Jordie

Having been to LA many years ago I was a bit reluctant to do another city tour but went along anyway as my husband had never been before. I really enjoyed the trip which took us to Olvera Street, Hollywood and Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and Farmers Market. I loved Olvera Street! The markets were really interesting and the people were a really funny, nice bunch. We bought a few things from the stalls and had a bite to eat - Tacos, which were yummy- but we really didn't have enough time there, enough to get the feel for it though. We then Headed to Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard and saw the Chinese Theatre and Kodak Centre and walked along the stars. It was okay! It was nice to see but its just so far from what everyone including myself imagines Hollywood to be like. Farmers Market was great! We had a ball shopping there, it was clean and inviting and the mall was very pretty with an excellent variety of shops and restaurants. I wish that we'd had more time to look around and have some food!
