Anaheim

This place is most certainly the fun centre of california! The afternoon we arrived in Anaheim it was pouring with rain but that didn't dampen the atmosphere around the place or our excitement at being of being there. We checked into our hotel which was a short walk to the Disney Parks gate and then went straight down to the Anaheim Visitor Centre (2 min walk) to book our trips and get our Disney tickets.
The next day it was still raining but we set off to Disneyland and got soaked on the way. It was still a magic place even in the rain. It actually turned out really well as we were able to get on all the rides without any line ups in that one day and then headed over to California Adventure and did some rides there too. the next day we headed off to Tijuana for a day trip. On the third day we drove around the street of Anaheim and checked out the shopping and diners and relaxed in the spa that afternoon. the fourth day was back to The Disney Parks in the sunshine and with many more people there it was a bit harder to get around. the third day was our LA< Hollywood tour.

anaheim itself consists mainly of hotels and diners and department shopping. It is easily accessible by car and public transportation is abundant. if you stay on West Ball road where we did the access to the Theme Parks is accross the road from majority of the hotels and there is a multitude of restaurants and gift shops along the main drag. Anaheim is very neat and there is an air of excitement surrounding the parks which is contagious1
