My name is Rene and I'm a 22-year old guy from Germany.

My hobbies are... travelling, fitness, going out and listening to music (even though I am not a musician). I LOVE to listen to house, dance and trance but I also like to listen to all other kinds of music... Very indecisive, I know ;-)

I love to go out with my friends. In Hannover, there are some really good clubs and we love to spend the nights (and mornings...) there. I also recommend a visit to the zoo in Hannover - I've got a year pass, it's really worth it.

I also like to visit my friends and family back in the South of Germany.

In 2004 I moved to the city of Hannover. Hannover is the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony and there are living about 550,000 people. I like Hannover very much, as it has got a very familial touch. Hannover is known as the "greenest city" of Germany, as there is a huge municipal forest called "Eilenriede".

I moved to Hannover in July of 2004, because I got an apprenticeship place at TUI. TUI is the world's largest tour operator - and as I love travelling, this was a good opportunity. My work is very different, as I'm changing departments every three months. I've already been to the call center, where all the travel agencies call up, if they've got questions. Then I've been to the department "City breaks", and I called up the hotels to get information for our clients, for example. After that I was working in the human resources department, which was very diversified.

After having studied at an American High School in Missouri, I really became interested in travelling the world (well, actually I was already interested in it before, but since then my interest in it grew even more).

My most exciting and wonderful vacation was my trip through the West of the United States. I went on the trip along the old Route 66, up from Chicago, way to California. I loved Las Vegas and Chicago - it was amazing. The U.S.A. are so diverse, it is just amazing.

I've seen many countries in Europe, yet. Unfortunately I have never been to Eastern Europe, so far.

In August 2005 I got to know a new wonderful place - Dubai. I really loved my time there and it became one of my favorite places. Dubai is kind of like big cities in the U.S.A., and... I will tell you soon on my Dubai pages! :-)

I love to do city and cultural trips, but I also love to just lay on the beach for a week.

In March I will be moving to Albufeira, Portugal - that's trip enough for this year ;-)
